Living in Cedar Park

The city north of Austin along 183A and Parmer, where Ranch at Brushy Creek sits beside the Brushy Creek Regional Trail.

Living in Cedar Park

Cedar Park is its own city, north of Austin along 183A and Parmer Lane. The southern part of the city sits close to the Avery Ranch area and the Apple Parmer campus, and the city keeps growing north as the 183A corridor fills in and new employers, including space and defense companies like Firefly, arrive.

My focus here is southern Cedar Park, starting with Ranch at Brushy Creek, and I'm working more and more of the city as relocation buyers follow the jobs north.

How I serve Cedar Park

Many of my Cedar Park clients are relocating, and the right neighborhood depends on what the move is for: a short commute, a particular school, or more house for the money. One buyer starting a job at Firefly didn't need schools at all and chose a home about eight minutes from work.

More Cedar Park neighborhoods are coming to this site. In the meantime, I'm glad to talk through any of them.

Homes and schools

Much of southern Cedar Park is newer master-planned housing, which means fewer age-related repairs and more HOA structure. Prices vary by section and by how recently a section was built.

Schools here can fall in Round Rock ISD or Leander ISD depending on the address, even within a single neighborhood like Ranch at Brushy Creek. Check every address.

Getting around and everyday life

Parmer, 183A and Brushy Creek Road carry most daily trips, and the Apple Parmer campus is close to the southern part of the city. The Brushy Creek Regional Trail is a daily favorite for walking and biking.
